220 «counters» in Jeddah's New Airport / Foodex_Saudi

220 counters for check-in in the new King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah , along with more than 80 devices for self-service assigned to serve passengers domestic airlines.

Hisham Hariri the chairman of the security and safety of King Abdulaziz International New Airport, said, it been completion of the processing of 220 counters, for the reception for the travelers in the new halls, pointing out that these counters welcomes travelers to finish the travel procedures, In addition to an automated system for handling bags, a length of 33 km,, this system extends from the counter even the plane, as well as more than 100 counters for passports.

 

Hariri pointed out that the design of the system of movement inside the new airport has carefully studied, as this system will reduce passengers waiting at customs and security agencies dramatically, in addition to that there are 80 device self-service to ease congestion on the counters key.

 

And about the division between the airline counters Hariri said: This distribution will be the main operator task and during flights scheduling, adding that the operation will be a high degree according to what was planned, and that the implementation of the project came just as the drawn of the preliminary designs.
