Second Gulf-British Economic Forum opened in London last week.
The Second Gulf-British Economic Forum started its activities here on Thursday, in the presence of Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom; Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Commerce and Investment Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi and British Minister of international trade Dr. William Fox, as well as a number of GCC ministers and ambassadors and a number of Arab and British businessmen.
The forum is organized by the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce with support of the GCC and UK Trade and Investment authority.
In his speech at the opening of the Forum, Prince Andrew, Duke of York, praised the GCC-UK trade relations which are based on mutual friendship and mutual cooperation, stressing the importance of the Gulf States as a trading partner of the United Kingdom.
GCC Secretary General stressed in a speech the importance of the GCC-British relations, noting that the GCC-British strategic dialogue is still going on.
