„Sądecki Bartnik” is a family-run business founded in 1973 by Kasztelewicz family. For us, beekeeping is more than just an occupation. It is our passion. Our company is located in the heart of picturesque Beskid Sądecki Mountains in Stróże, southern Poland. Our bee farm consists of nearly 1500 hives, most of which are situated in the region of Carpathian Mountains.„Bartnik” offers a wide range of honey and other bee products such as propolis, bee pollen, beebread, royal jelly, and beeswax.

Multiflower Honey Multiflower Honey
As the name indicates, this honey comes from nectar gathered by bees from different plants, both cultivated ones and those growing in meadows, forests, lowlands and mountains. Its colour is light creamy or sometimes pale yellow. It crystallizes quickly, turning to light grey or light brown. It has a characteristic rather strong waxy aroma, de- pendent on the mixture of nectar brought to the hive. The curative properties of this honey depend on the plants the nectar has been collected from. Multiflower honey - is used as a remedy to treat allergies since it contains pollens that act as antigens. - is particularly applicable in respiratory allergic diseases such as asthma or a hay fever - has a high content of silicon, an element necessary for the proper functioning of the circulatory system - is helpful with the renewal of skin, hair and bones
Forest Honey Forest Honey
Honeydew honey, from coniferous trees. Its colour can be grey- green, brown, or even black, depending on the tree species the honeydew is obtained from. It crystallizes rather slowly, becoming lumpy in the process. The smell is slightly spicy and the taste is mild and not very sweet. Honeydew honey from coniferous trees has anti-inflammatory, disinfecting, expectorant and antibio- tic effects. It contains more active substances, especially biolo- gically active iron, than nectar honeys. Honeydew honey: - is useful for upper respiratory tract diseases and in the case of lowered immunity - supports the treatment of rheumatic, skin and nervous diseases.
Linden Honey Linden Honey
This type of honey has a distinctive strong aroma that resembles the smell of a lime tree. The taste is sharp, slightly bitter. In the liquid state, the honey's colour is greenish-yellow to light amber. The intensity of colour and taste differ depending on the re- gion the honey comes from. During crystallization process its con- sistency becomes fine-grained and the colour changes to white- yellow or golden-yellow. Lime blossom honey exhibits expectorant, diaphoretic, antipyretic, sedative and antispasmodic properties. Lime blossom honey: - is applied in the treatment of acute and chronic diseases of the upper respiratory tract, the throat and the sinuses, in throat infections and for bronchitis. - Due to its high antibiotic activity, it is also applied in urinary tract diseases, rheumatism and neuroses.
Acacia Honey Acacia Honey
It contains a large quantity of fructose, therefore it crystallizes very slowly. The colour of pure acacia honey is light creamy. White or strawcoloured after crystallization. The taste slightly resembles that of acacia flowers. Children particularly admire acacia honey due to its extremely delicate taste. It is widely used as an addition to many drinks, dishes and desserts. It demonstrates a great number of beneficial effects on the body. Acacia honey: - despite its sweetness, acacia honey has a very low sucrose content and a high fructose level, therefore it is the best choice for diabetics. - is also known for its therapeutic qualities because it cleanses the liver, conditions the intestines, and it is beneficial for the respiratory system due to anti- bacterial properties.
Honey with comb Honey with comb
Acacia honey is particularly admired by children due to its extre- mely delicate taste. It is widely used as an addition to many drinks, dishes and desserts. The popularity of chewing a piece of honeycomb grows not only in Poland but all over the world. It demonstrates a great number of beneficial effects on the body. The honey- comb stimulates saliva production, it helps to boost metabolism and it is also applicable in the treatment of colds. Additionally, honeycomb is recommended for smokers as it helps them to quit the habit. Contemporary research confirm antiviral qualities of certain components of beeswax. Notably, chewing beeswax was already advised by folk medicine.
Bee Pollen Bee Pollen
Pollen is a bee product gathered by worker honey bees from flowers of plants, mainly entomphilous ones. It is distinguished by its high content of B group vitamins, monosaccharides and po- lysaccharides, as well as amino acids, including arginine. It has antiaggregation (anticoagulant) effects. It also contains other nutritive and biologically active substances.
